F.R.E.D.

New design just released!!! The nut on the front is gone as well as the holding spring. An adjustable spring-loaded steel "C" bracket now holds the F.R.E.D. securely on the knuckle. Can be adjusted to fit any coupler. There are now two versions of the F.R.E.D. as well. The first is self-contained with an on-board, easy to replace, 12V battery in the housing. The unit has an on-off switch. The second model has a pair of wire leads extending from the back of the device that can be used to hook into any existing 3V-18V power source on the car. This enables you to wire the F.R.E.D. directly to, for example, the power source available in your caboose that is used to light the caboose.
